Is bonding the same as a veneer?+
No. Bonding uses composite resin directly on the tooth, while a veneer is a separately made facing, often ceramic. Each has different indications and maintenance needs.
Can composite bonding stain?+
It can change over time depending on diet, habits, surface wear and maintenance. Polishing, repair or replacement may eventually be required.
Is bonding suitable for every chipped tooth?+
No. Larger fractures, bite stress, cracks or limited enamel may require another restorative approach.
